The Penn I-Corps program will host several sessions via zoom to provide information about the I-Corps offering and to facilitate forming teams. You can attend even if you do not have an idea or a team. In addition, take some time to read this article about the fall session and the previous teams.

Innovation @ Penn Virtual Pitch Event
Join us on Wednesday, March 17 from 4-6pm Eastern to hear from a few of the innovative startup companies emerging from Penn and Pennovation Works.
This pitch event provides a great opportunity to learn about the latest innovation from Penn students and entrepreneurs! This event is happening during SXSW 2021. The complete list of the 8 startups pitching will be announced soon.

The $10K Y-Prize challenges students to create a business plan using new technologies invented at Penn Engineering. This year, participants can choose from two technologies: one that offers highly selective filtration capabilities, and another that facilitates communication between mapping robots and humans.
Sustaining Women’s Progress in STEM
Each year, the Office of Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Programs, the Weingarten Center, and other Penn partners, host a symposium focused on Women in STEM.
This year’s virtual symposium is entitled Sustaining Women’s Progress in STEM and will take place on Tuesday, March 23, 12-1:30 p.m. EST. President’s Distinguished Professor. Vijay Kumar, Ph.D., Nemirovsky Family Dean of Penn Engineering will deliver the keynote. Register here.
Call for Medical Device and Health-Tech Development Projects
Penn Health-Tech and the Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation invite faculty and staff from Penn, Penn Medicine, and CHOP to submit proposals for pilot funding through the Health-Tech Design and Development program. The goal of this funding program is to support the development of medical device and health technology projects that address important unmet medical needs and/or the translation of the technology (e.g., commercialization, licensing agreement, start-up formation). Learn more. The application deadline is Tuesday, April 6th at 5:00 pm.
MedCity INVEST is the premier national healthcare investing conference.
This year, the virtual program will highlight healthcare innovation in the pandemic, and the seismic changes taking place across healthcare. The event is April 19 – 23.
BioNJ’s 11th Annual BioPartnering Conference
