In April, PCI supported the implementation of a Collaborative Research Agreement with the Shawn Carter Foundation (“SCF”) on behalf of Dr. Keith Weigelt, the Marks-Darivoff Family Professor of Strategy Management at Wharton.
This partnership focuses on transforming Dr. Weigelt’s community program, “Bridges to Wealth,” into a broader initiative called “Champions for Financial Legacy”, which is being launched at four Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The financial education initiative seeks to empower students at HBCUs by providing tools for managing personal finances in the real world to improve students’ financial literacy and guide them to apply their knowledge to help build wealth in their communities.
