Craig Gravitz, JD

Craig Gravitz, Executive Director of PCI Ventures, is an expert in spotting strong early-stage technologies and helping to refine them into real products, real companies, and real solutions. He has led technology translation and commercialization efforts at both the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) and the Department of Defense, working across health, software, AI, engineering, and other emerging fields. At ARPA-H, he was the agency’s first employee and later founded and led its Office of Commercialization. At the Defense Logistics Agency, he created and ran a technology accelerator that helped move new tools in AI, automation, and imaging toward real-world use.

Craig is especially good at taking promising technology and figuring out how to get it adopted in the real world, even within large and complicated systems. He regularly brings together scientists, founders, investors, and institutional partners to get deals done and move technologies forward. He is an attorney by training, and as a government contracting officer, he negotiated multi-million-dollar agreements. Craig enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. Contact Craig here.
