Liz joined PCI in 2018 as a member of the Corporate Contracts team, and began working in the Legal Affairs team in 2019. Liz is also an Associate General Counsel at the Office of the General Counsel. Liz manages Penn’s trademark portfolio and provides legal support in intellectual property licensing transactions. Liz also manages Penn’s trademark portfolio, and provides legal support to the Office of the University Secretary in Use of Penn’s Name issues, and to Business Services and Penn Athletics on trademark usage and licensing. She enforces trademark rights as well.
Prior to PCI, Liz practiced law in Boston, northern New Jersey and Philadelphia, and was a member (partner) of an international law firm based in Center City Philadelphia. Liz received her undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, her master’s degree in mechanical engineering and applied sciences at the University of Pennsylvania, and a J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center. Liz is a member of the National Association of Colleges and University Attorneys (NACUA). She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Email Liz here.
