This fall, the Penn Center for Innovation and Penn Engineering present three monthly sessions with expert speakers, who will discuss funding, pitching, and open source software for commercialization.
Each session is free and will take place in person (see locations below). Lunch will be provided at each event as well.
The schedule is as follows:
- Wed, September 28 – 12pm to 1pm EST: Manny Stockman, Ph.D., Partner at Osage University Partners discusses getting your startup from an idea to funding. Location: Raisler Lounge, Towne 225 (220 South 33rd Street Philadelphia, PA 19104)
- Thurs, October 27 – 12pm to 1pm EST: Steve Weiner, Esq., Senior Director of Innovation & Technology at PCI and Terry Bray, Ph.D. Executive Director of Licensing, Physical Sciences and Engineering at PCI cover “Pitching 101” for academic entrepreneurs. - Thurs, Dec 1- 12pm to 1pm EST: Ajay Rayasam, M.S, Associate, Technology at Osage University Partners presents the benefits of open source software for commercialization. Location: Levine Hall, Room 307 (3330 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19104)
