Ryan joined PCI in 2025 as Associate Director of Licensing, Physical Sciences and Engineering, where he supports innovation and commercialization efforts across multiple disciplines in the School of Engineering and Applied Science, School of Arts and Sciences, Stuart Weitzman School of Design, and the Wharton School. He brings extensive experience in technology transfer, having spent eight years at Cornell University’s Center for Technology Licensing, where he managed a diverse portfolio of physical sciences and engineering technologies and developed expertise in commercializing technologies across multiple disciplines.
Prior to his career in technology transfer, Ryan conducted research in chemistry and materials science as a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London and gained industry experience at Saudi Aramco. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), an MBA from the University of South Florida, and is a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP).
