For the past decade, the President’s Engagement and Innovation Prizes have provided graduating Penn seniors with significant financial support and faculty mentorship to encourage impactful post-graduation projects

PCI supports the President’s Innovation Prize and previous winners include: Baleena (2022), which is pioneering an innovative device to stop the flow of microfiber waste from laundry into our waterways, Strella Biotechnology (2019 Winner), which markets a biosensor that can predict the maturity of fresh fruit and Jochi (2024 Winner), an online ed-tech management platform that aims to improve the educational experience of students with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences.
