Sonura co-founders Gabriella Daltoso, Sophie Ishiwari, Gabriela Cano, Caroline Magro, and Tifara Boyce were named as 2023’s Inno Under 25 honorees by the Philadelphia Business Journal. In April 2023, the team was awarded the 2023 President’s Innovation Prize to further develop the Sonura Beanie, a device used to help with the cognitive and socioemotional development of newborns in the NICU.
