Scout Bio, a Penn startup focused on gene therapy for companion animals, was acquired by French company Ceva Santé Animale. Scout was co-founded in 2018 by gene therapy leader James Wilson, MD, PhD, the Rose H. Weiss Orphan Disease Center Director’s Professor at Penn Medicine.
