On June 15, Pennovation Works launched the 5th annual Pennovation Accelerator.
The Pennovation Accelerator invites a cohort of local startups to engage in a six-week program to develop their business strategy and cultivate their network.
This summer’s cohort consists of ten companies, seven of which are Penn-affiliated, including Baleena, a pollution reducing technology that was awarded the President’s Sustainability Prize, and ToxiSense, a water testing technology that won the Perlman Grand Prize in the Venture Lab Startup Challenge.
The Pennovation Accelerator will conclude with a Pitch Day on July 27, where the companies will come together to pitch to mentors, investors, and peers.
