Penn spinout Heirloom Carbon Technologies plans to invest $475 million to build its second Direct Air Capture (DAC) facility in North America, located at the Port of Caddo-Bossier in Louisiana.
The facility, expected to begin construction by the end of the year, will use Heirloom’s advanced technology to capture and permanently store around 17,000 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere annually. Read more here.
