Scientific American recently featured four stories on advancements in gene therapy. Two of the four were on Penn inventors, specifically the work of Drs. Jean Bennett and Albert Maguire to prevent vision loss, and Penn faculty’s research in a CAR T cell treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
