Interius Biotherapeutics, a Penn spinout co-founded by Saar Gill, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Medicine (Hematology-Oncology) at Penn Medicine, was recognized in the Philadelphia Business Journal’s “PHL Inno 2024 in Review” as one of the top Philadelphia-area startups raising capital last year. Interius raised $67 million in an equity financing round last August, which will support the development of its lead gene therapy candidate for treating B-cell malignancies. Read more here.
