Nia Therapeutics Raises $8.5 Million 

Penn spinout Nia Therapeutics recently raised $8.5 million in an equity financing round. The company, co-founded by Michael Kahana, PhD, the Edmund J. and Louise W. Kahn Term Professor of Psychology in Penn’s School of Arts and Sciences, is focused on developing precision brain stimulation therapies to treat memory loss due to brain injury and degenerative disease. Read more here.
