Penn health system profits support medical research and teaching over past decade 

Penn was highlighted in the Philadelphia Inquirer for investing $2 billion in profits from its health system into medical research and physician support over the past decade. This financial support has resulted in medical breakthroughs, like the Nobel-Prize winning mRNA technology that was used to create covid-19 vaccines, as well as startup-costs for dozens of new research scientists, emerging treatments, and more over the past decade.
