Penn Startup Vivodyne Raises $40 Million to Advance Human Tissue Testing Platform

Vivodyne, co-founded by Dan Huh, PhD, Professor of Bioengineering in Penn Engineering and CEO Andrei Georgescu, has secured $40 million in Series A financing to scale their robotics and AI-enabled lab-grown human tissue platform for identifying new drug targets and generating predictive human data prior to initiating clinical trials for new therapeutics.
