Stentix Wins the 2025 Y-Prize   

Stentix, winner of the 2025 Y-Prize Competition, cosponsored by the Wharton School’s Mack Institute, Penn Engineering, Venture Lab, and PCI, developed an innovative use of MORF, a reconfigurable material developed in the lab of Cynthia Sung, PhD, Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics at Penn Engineering. The team behind Stentix plans to continue developing the technology for several adjustable stent applications. The Y-Prize competition challenges students to build their entrepreneurial skills by creating business plans for technologies invented by Penn researchers.  Read more here
