Mary Frances Frabotta

Mary Frances delivers high-level administrative and operational assistance to the Executive Director of Licensing (Physical Sciences and Engineering) and the other members of the Physical Sciences and Engineering licensing team. With an Associate Degree in General Business Administration, her professional experience has grown across government, non-profit, and private sector entities. Mary Frances enjoys sailing as well as culinary arts and gardening.

Lenora Sapp

Lenora is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of IP compliance obligations including federal reporting and record maintenance in PCI’s IP management database. Lenora holds a BA from La Salle University and a MA from Saint Joseph’s University. She enjoys lifting heavy circles and showing others how to get stronger by moving heavy circles too.

Rita C. Bevans

Rita joined Penn as a Senior Intellectual Property Paralegal in 2022. Rita manages the intellectual property for Perelman School of Medicine and works closely with PSOM’s licensing officers. 

Prior to joining Penn, Rita has over twenty-five years of experience as a paralegal in patent prosecution and intellectual property law.

Eugene Hsue, Esq.

Eugene drafts and negotiates research-related industry contracts as a member of the Corporate Contracts team. He is a graduate of Cornell University, Temple Beasley School of Law, and the University of Pittsburgh. He most enjoys reading books aloud to his daughter, hiking or cycling outdoors with family and friends, and learning new languages.

Sam Savello

Sam manages the website, email newsletter and social media channels, plans events and leads internal communications channels at PCI. After studying Hispanic Literature at Brown, Sam gained marketing and content creation experience at several startups and developed a passion for technology and innovation. She enjoys teaching yoga, writing and spending time with her chocolate lab.

Neetu Singh Amin, PhD

Neetu works with faculty in the schools of Veterinary Medicine, Dental Medicine, Nursing, and Social Policy and Practice to assess and help commercialize inventions. After her scientific training, she has worked for several years in intellectual property law, business development and licensing.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends and teaching and practicing yoga. Neetu went to graduate school at Drexel University. She also did Postdoctoral training at Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and Harvard Medical School.

Terry Bray, PhD

Dr. Terry Bray is the Executive Director of Licensing, Physical Sciences and Engineering at PCI.  Prior to joining Penn, he held positions as a licensing professional at several other universities, as well as serving an Executive Vice President of Business Development at Atherotech Diagnostics Lab  He has more than 30 years experience in the creation, development, and commercialization of innovative technologies both as a faculty inventor and licensing professional.  Dr. Bray holds a B.S. in chemistry from Mercer University, a M.S. in chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Abby Golin, Esq.

Abby joined Penn in 2021, after previously working for various hospitals after graduating law school.  She works with the Alliances group providing legal counsel and review.

Xiaomeng Liu

Xiaomeng is responsible for a number of revenue side operations for the PCI finance team, where her responsibilities include managing cash receipts, analyzing invoices, performing accounts receivable aging analyses, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting period closings.

Prior to joining PCI, Xiaomeng accumulated ten years of experience at a publicly traded company, where she held various accounting roles, including general accounting, fixed asset accounting, revenue accounting, subsidiary annual reporting, SEC 10Q and 10K reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
